Brastel supports the 23rd World Scout Jamboree.

Brastel sets up for free IP public phone at the venue.

Brastel Co., Ltd., the international communications provider (head office: Tokyo, Japan; Presidents: Kendi Kawai, Junji Tanabe) (hereinafter “Brastel”) supports the largest event of the Scout Movement - the 23rd World Scout Jamboree (hereinafter “23WSJ”), which is organized once each 4 years by WOSM. Brastel installs for free IP public phone at the venue site as well as donates the part of its revenue from the services to the Jamboree.
23WSJ takes place at Kirara-Hama, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture from July, 28th, 2015. Around 30,000 young participants, aged 14 to 17, from 161 countries worldwide are expected to join the Jamboree. For about 2 weeks young scouts will do camping and participate in different programs sharing their experience with each other and foster a familial bond amongst fellow-scouts from all over the world.

For such a cosmopolitan Jamboree community Brastel offers at the venue a user-friendly communication environment and customer support on 11 languages.

Brastel sets up 15 IP public phones at different locations of the campus site. This will allow to make free phone calls between the stations as well as high quality domestic and international calls at low-cost. Until now this service has been widely used at Foreign Tourist Offices.

Brastel also has a counter at Welcome Center where it is possible to get for free and instantly recharge an account to make local and international calls, purchase a data SIM card for Internet access, receive free 050 IP phone number, rent a Wi-Fi router, etc.

As part of its social contribution activity, Brastel supports 23WSJ donating a part of its sales at the venue to the Jamboree event and will continue to do CSR activity in the future.
