Brastel offers 30-day 1GB Japan Travel SIM card from July 9th, 2015
Brastel Co., Ltd., the international communications provider (head office: Tokyo, Japan; Presidents: Kendi Kawai, Junji Tanabe) (hereinafter “Brastel”) provides short-term visitors and tourists to Japan with a prepaid data card, “Japan Travel SIM,” powered by Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (hereinafter “IIJ”). From the 9th of July 2015, Brastel expands the options available under the service by offering a 1GB light plan for 30 days’ use.
The 1GB light plan (with a 30 day usage period) was released on the 9th of July by IIJ. Brastel has therefore added this option to its existing 2GB plan (with a 3 month usage period). Both types of Japan Travel SIM card can be topped up with additional data capacity online.

Available recharge plans: ¥1,100 (500MB), ¥2,200 (1.25GB)
N.B. Recharge (top-up) of the Japan Travel SIM is possible only within the validation period.

・How to use
To recharge Japan Travel SIM you will need:
１）Your Brastel card account information (access code and PIN)
２）Your Japan Travel SIM card TEL No. and PASS CODE
・Instructions (from a mobile device)
STEP 1: Download and setup the 050 Free app.
STEP 2: Open the app and go to Settings → SIP Account → Go to My Account → Recharge SIM card.
STEP 3: Choose one of the available plans, enter your Japan Travel SIM card Tel No. and PASS CODE.
N.B. If the balance of your Brastel card account is insufficient, you cannot top up your Japan Travel SIM card. For information on how to recharge your Brastel card please access the following link.
