A Day to Remember: Brazilian Students Explore Brastel’s Diverse World
Brastel recently had the pleasure of welcoming a group of enthusiastic Brazilian students for an unforgettable day at its Tokyo headquarters. Organized as part of a cultural and educational exchange initiative, the visit provided students with a firsthand glimpse into the inner workings of a multicultural company operating at the intersection of technology, communication, and customer service.
This special event was part of the Jovens Aprendizes Program, organized by the Consulate-General of Brazil in Japan, with the goal of offering Brazilian youth in Japan opportunities for professional and cultural enrichment.
From the moment the students stepped into the office, their excitement was contagious. They were greeted warmly by the Brastel team and introduced to the company's rich history and global mission. As the day unfolded, they explored various departments—from customer support and marketing to systems development—discovering how international collaboration fuels the company’s innovation.
A highlight of the day was the opportunity to meet and speak directly with Brastel’s leadership, including co-founder and director Wilson Kendi Kawai. His words inspired the young visitors as he spoke about building bridges between cultures and the importance of empathy and inclusion in business.
The students also participated in an interactive workshop, and during lunchtime, they had the opportunity to speak with Brastel staff about their roles. These conversations offered the students a valuable first-hand glimpse into various career paths and possibilities for their own futures. Their ideas, energy, and curiosity brought a vibrant dynamic to the workplace, reminding everyone at Brastel of the importance of fresh perspectives.
As a company that has long served Japan’s international communities, Brastel is proud to invest in the future of young talents. This initiative not only empowered the students to envision their own career paths but also deepened mutual understanding between Japan and Brazil—something Brastel has championed for over two decades.
We thank the students for their visit, and we look forward to hosting more educational experiences that connect young minds with professional worlds!
